DELIVERIES

Deliveries are carried out via independent courier companies, all members of the pallex network. The pallex network is one of the largest in the UK ,with an emphasis on, safe and secure transport. Prices include delivery to mainland UK addresses with the exception of our premier fountains. Price of delivery is included to postcodes on the map with the exception of:

  • SOUTHERN IRELAND
  • AB

Premier fountain delivery is quotable upon order as the cost is entirely dependable on you post code. For our premier range of fountain, the delivery is normally carried out in 2 methods; first a pallet of heavy components delivered via delivery company as out lined below; the second is carried out by ourselves with our own lorry, to allow for the fibreglass liner to be stood up at angle to allow transportation. Some of these fibre glass liners are 11 foot + and require specialized handling; thus a quote normally comprises of the cost of fuel and the man hours involved.

HOW DELIVERY WILL BE CARRIED OUT

Here at Geoff’s garden ornaments we use an independent delivery company. Once your item is ready for dispatch we will call you to arrange delivery of a day of your choice Monday to Friday. On the day of delivery we can get an approx ETA.

All our delivery’s are carried on a lorry (the size of a dust cart), the Lorries are 7.5 tonnes. If a dust cart lorry cannot get down your road, then our delivery Lorries will not be able to access your road either!

Your items are securely wrapped up on pallets; the driver will use a pump up pallet truck to pull the pallet on to your property. It is then up to you, family and friends to put the items in-situe. The restrictions on the pump-up pallet truck are: they cannot be pulled along soft ground, this includes shingle/gravel; they cannot be pulled up steps or stairs.

Please read and understand these delivery issues:

  • Any deliveries that could not be successfully dropped, through no fault of the delivery company, there will be a minimum charge of £70 payable by you;
  • Our delivery is a pallet delivery only; driver’s cannot take your items off the pallets or place them where you desire;
  • These are very heavy items so please be careful when handling the item as rolling the edges or leaning the edge of item can cause damage.

We take great care and pride in our products and do our best to ensure the goods arrive to you in the condition they were sent.

However, during transportation the goods on the pallet may have moved, as a result during unpacking take extra care as items may fall. Before removing the packaging look over the pallet to identify areas that may become a problem, is the load on the pallet leaning to one side? You may need additional help due to the weight of some items.

Lifting some items could cause injury so always check the weight before lifting and get help where needed. Never lift an item that is more then you can physically lift.

Never roll goods off the pallet, never place items down hard, and always use two or more people if needed. We want you to enjoy your product, so take time when moving your item. This will reduce the risk of the item being damaged and injuries happening.

*If you are unhappy with your product, require an exchange or change your mind on your purchase, we offer a money back Guarantee.

We would require written confirmation with in 14 days of you receiving your product, for your intent to return the product for a refund, you will then have a further 14 days to organise the safe return of the product at your expense, if you choose to use a pallet courier company for the return, they offer insurance for the product during transit, we highly recommend the full value of the product is insured.

It is your responsibility to insure the item is repackaged on the pallet safely and securely so that it reaches us in the condition it was delivered to you in, once we receive the item back safe and intact we will then refund the full purchase price to the account that you had made the original transaction through.

*All items that are delivered by us through the delivery company are insured during transit, if damage occurs please follow the guidelines as outlined above so that we are able to replace the damaged item / items. Failure to follow these steps and guidelines could result in the insurance being invalid and prevent the replacement of the damaged items.

*It is your responsibility to insure all information you supplied during the order process is correct and accurate, any failing due to incorrect or inaccurate information supplied will be charged representative to any expenses incurred.

*Any changes to the order must be submitted in writing before dispatch, any failing due to incorrect or inaccurate information you supplied for the change of order will be charged representative to any expenses incurred.
